在接觸車輛前準備好正確用品

你需要兩個桶子、pH 中性的汽車肥皂、柔軟的洗車手套、分開的 microfiber 毛巾用於乾燥，以及 UV 防護 sealant 或陶瓷噴漆。跳過 dish soap、wheel cleaner 和任何標示為 degreaser 的產品。這些產品會隨時間剝離透明漆層，使碳纖維紋理暴露。

如果零件有 heavy road film，使用專為 painted surfaces 設計的 bug-and-tar remover，並徹底 rinse。切勿使用 scrub brush 或 abrasive 側面的 sponge。一次 stiff brush 的擦拭就能在透明漆層留下永久 scratches。

使用 gentle 的 two-bucket 方法清洗

先 rinse 零件以移除 loose dirt。然後從上往下用 soapy water 和手套清洗，使用 light straight passes 而非 circles。在 clean water bucket 中 rinse 手套後再 reload soap。這能防止 grit 進入透明漆層並避免 swirl marks。

使用 clean microfiber towel 或 filtered blower 乾燥。不要讓 water 在零件上 air-dry，因為 tap water 中的 minerals 會留下 spots 並 etch 進透明漆層。如果在 direct sun 下清洗，先將車輛移到 shade 中，以免 soap 在表面乾燥。

• 一個常見錯誤：在 driving 後立即清洗 hot spoiler。讓零件冷卻，以免 soap 和 water flash-dry。

保護透明漆層免受 UV 和 contamination

Clay bar 或 iron remover 每年只需使用一到兩次。輕柔使用，然後立即重新應用 sealant，因為 claying 會移除現有保護。如果車輛 parked under trees，car cover 或 spray-and-rinse routine 能避免 sap 和 pollen buildup。

• 檢查點：treatment 後 water 應在表面 beading。如果 sheeting flat，則需重新應用。
• 除非有經驗，否則不要在 carbon fiber 上使用 rotary polisher，因為這些零件的 clear coats 很 thin。

小心處理 edges、gaps 和 mounting points
